I agree with you 100% Karnan! Did you know that there is a global movement to unite planet Earth?

In May, 1948, former Broadway Actor and World War II Bomber Pilot, Garry Davis, walked into the United States Embassy in Paris, renounced his national citizenship from the United States and declared himself a "World Citizen". On that day, a global movement was born. Today, there are over a million registered "World Citizens" from every nation on the planet.

Being a World Citizen doesn't mean you must give up your national citizenship, just as being a citizen of your country doesn't require you to renounce your state or regional citizenship. However, it is about DECLARING YOUR SOVEREIGNTY and raising it to the global level.

Albert Einstein once said, "Mark my words, this boy, Garry Davis, has grasped the only problem which deserves the devotion of contemporary man, the problem to which I myself am determined to devote the rest of my life, up to my very last day: a problem of the survival of the species. It is a question of knowing whether mankind - the very universe of man - will disappear by its own hand, or whether it will continue to exist. Garry Davis has understood that and he has explained it to me many times." (Quoted in the transcript of the 10/04/1949 hearing before the 14th Court of Corrections in Paris)

Garry Davis is now 83 years old and leading a powerful movement for world peace as the Coordinator of the World Government of World Citizens.

I know it's hard to believe a united Earth is possible. For so long we kept hoping that the UN would create world government, but nations don't make governments, people do.

That's why it is so important to drive this movement forward. It's time for the PEOPLE of the Earth to unite and stop the bloodbath; stop the fear; stop the terror; stop the corporate warmongers; stop the destruction of our environment, and EVOLVE FORWARD. We have to stop wishing for peace, praying for peace, waiting for peace, demanding peace and JUST MAKE PEACE!

Does that mean that we will live in some kind of idealistic Utopia that is sterile and free from any kind of conflict? Of course not. Peace is not the mere absence of conflict, but the ability to resolve conflict peacefully, and most importantly, WITHOUT WAR!

Many people believe it is naive to think that we can ever stop war. I say it's naive to think we have any other choice.

How much longer can we continue with global anarchy where nations (all 192 of them) claim to have supreme sovereignty, leaving humanity to plod clumsily to ward self destruction?

It's like a body with 192 separate brains, all attempting to control the movements, actions, reactions, and functions of the whole unit without any central nervous system.

What can we as individuals do to stop this madness and alter the course of humanity? EVERYTHING!

YOU CAN DO SOMETHING TODAY to help change the world, put an end to war and save humanity. Step outside the box of nationalism and join the world community!
