Well now, I live in Costa Rica but originally I came from the USA. Here we buy eggs by the kilo, eat quite a few chayotes and are known for always arriving late for appointments! And the rest of you?

Re: We differ in the same way?
Fri, June 10, 2005 - 8:48 AMI too used to live in the US and now live in Mexico. Here, I buy eggs from the chicken farmer, and eat coyote squash. :) I usually get my lunch at the taco stand on the beach and for exercise, I swim in the ocean. One thing I love about the beach here is that unlike the beaches in So. Cal., there not meat meat markets. I can actually enjoy the ocean without feeling like I'm on display. Another thing I really like, it's a total cash society. In the states, you bought everything on credit or with your debit card. Since I don't have a credit card. I always felt like a second-class citizen. But here, I fit right in. :)
